For £313 each, we got a seven-night last-minute all-inclusive deal through Jet2, with flights and transfers from LBA. Hard to beat that price. The room was fine, though the decor felt a bit tired, so that kept it at four stars for me. Food and drinks, mostly wine, were better quality than at other all-inclusive places we’ve tried. The wine came from bottles, not a cheap pump. Staff were brilliant, friendly and attentive. Tipping gets results. The smaller pool was quieter, while the big pool had good entertainment. The promenade is lovely. Take the cable car to the Kazbah, and visit the restored Medina.

The location was nice, but the resort didn’t live up to what we expected. We stayed seven nights at Valeria Jardins d’Agadir Resort, and the food was limited, mostly French dishes, and rather bland. We went out for dinner most evenings instead, where there was more variety and better food. The staff were generally polite, but it felt as though they engaged with us less unless guests were French. On our first day, nobody introduced us to the resort or showed us around. We saw French guests personally taken to see the facilities on several occasions, which left us feeling overlooked. The rooms were acceptable, but there was a damp smell throughout our stay. In our view, the resort may suit guests over 50, particularly French visitors, more than a broad mix of international travelers.

This was my first visit to Morroco, and I’ll definitely come back after such a great holiday with my family. The hotel was well placed for the beach and local shops, and the food had plenty of variety and choice. My room was great and kept spotless by the wonderful cleaning staff. Everyone was happy to help and add those little touches that matter. The staff were especially friendly and went the extra mile, particularly Luchen. Mohammed at reception was very helpful in arranging the rooms my daughter’s family had requested when they booked. Thanks to the staff and locals who made the trip so enjoyable.

We stayed for seven days and enjoyed it so much we’d definitely return. A fellow traveler had dietary needs, and the chefs prepared a suitable selection for her each day, which was amazing. The hotel was kept in good shape, and the rooms were cleaned to a high standard. All the staff were polite and professional, while the entertainment team were enthusiastic and great fun.

The hotel was clean, with staff always busy cleaning and especially friendly cleaners. Security around the property was good, and the beach and promenade walk were easy to reach. With police nearby, we felt safe. The main pool was heated and had plenty of loud entertainment; there was another, quieter pool near the slides. The food was good, especially the tagines and desserts, and water was left in the room each day. I’d call it three stars, not four. There were no tea or coffee facilities in the room, and the bathrooms need updating. The bedrooms and exterior could use some paint. The entertainment focused too much on French guests. Some of them were rude and disrespectful several times, especially at meals and when taking over the sun. The tight PVC trunks worn by some elderly French men didn’t feel respectful in a family holiday hotel.
