We stayed for a week. The reception team were welcoming and kind, and the breakfasts were nice. I just wish water had been available without having to ask, since it's a necessity and you'd expect it with breakfast. The rooms were okay, but could have been cleaner. The bins hadn't been changed when we arrived, and another guest had a dirty toilet. I think they need more cleaning staff. The older cleaning lady was working hard by herself.

The location was great, but the rooms and service let the riad down. Our rooms felt cramped, the shower heads didn't work, the cleaning was poor and the bins weren't emptied. Breakfast was limited, and there were restrictions on what we could have, so it didn't really feel like a buffet. Bottled water, orange juice and mesemen pancakes were kept behind the serving table, and we always had to ask for them. I wouldn't stay again.

We were put here as part of a group tour, so we didn't have much choice. We raised the cleanliness problems and were moved, but the next room was no better. All the rooms seemed dirty and poorly maintained. It's near the market, so expect noise. Breakfast was the same every day, with stale, dry bread. There are better riads at this price, with cleaner rooms, better facilities and much more positive reviews. Also, printing a boarding pass here costs €1 per page, charged in euros rather than Moroccan dirhams. Lol.

The rooftop terrace was lovely, especially late at night when our second-floor room was too cramped to sit around or move comfortably. The location was handy too, with easy access to the square for food, shopping and banking. The breakfast choices were good, but service on day two was odd. One server wasn't very friendly and kept the water, juice and yoghurts out of reach. We had to ask, and she'd serve them once, then hide them away. The other woman didn't do that. Several people on our floor had room problems, and many complained there wasn't enough space. My room was clearly not ready: the toilet hadn't been flushed, the towels were used, there was no shower curtain or toilet roll, the bin was full, and the tap didn't work. They eventually sorted things out, but shouldn't have handed over the keys in that condition. No other room was available, so we made do with the broken tap.
