Riad Palmier

We spent four nights here and were more than satisfied. David and the staff were friendly throughout, and the service was excellent. The courtyard inside is beautiful, the location is great, and breakfast was always fresh and really tasty. We’d recommend this riad to anyone looking for a place to stay in Marrakech.

The riad was so pretty, it felt like a dream. There was lots of space, and both the rooms and the big bathroom were clean. I really liked the breakfast, especially the homemade jams and yogurt, and the mint tea was great too. Thanks to the very friendly, helpful staff for making our two days nice. It’s very close to the Medina as well.

Rachid and the ladies made our stay unforgettable. They were honestly some of the kindest, most generous people we’ve ever met, and Rachid’s advice and tips are gold. Riad Palmier is charming, beautiful, friendly and clean, with air conditioning in the room that works well and is indispensable. The food was excellent, and dinner is well worth having too. It’s right in the Medina, with everything within walking distance.

The riad itself is lovely, but our room had a really awful smell. People staying there had to pass right in front of our door and could see into the room, even from the swimming pool, so we couldn't leave the door open for fresh air. When we complained, they brushed us off in about a minute, saying all the rooms were full. The staff showed no further interest in helping. Such a shame for an otherwise nice place.
