Breakfast on the tranquil rooftop was a highlight. We could choose how we wanted our eggs, and the shakshuka was to die for, with granola, yoghurt, fresh fruit, lovely breads, and dips. We also had dinner one evening, prepared with care by Abla: slow-cooked shoulder of lamb, tender chicken, and vibrant salads. The food really impressed us. The riad felt like a Moroccan palace blended with a cosy, welcoming home. The bedrooms were stunning, with spacious bathrooms, high-quality finishes, heavy fluffy towels, and silky soft sheets. Everything felt thoughtful and luxurious, and we were looked after so well we didn't lift a finger. The atmosphere and staff were the best. Huge thanks to Alena, Abdu, Fatima, Mustafa, and Abla for making our trip so special. We can't wait to return.

Riad Alena was a peaceful little oasis away from the bustle of the medina, yet well placed for visiting the main attractions. Our room was clean and beautiful, full of Moroccan charm and lovely details. The rooftop terrace was a great place to start the day with delicious breakfast: fresh fruit, pastries, and traditional Moroccan touches. We also had homemade lunch and dinner, with fresh, delicious food from the in-house chef. The staff welcomed us warmly from the moment we arrived. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful, going above and beyond to make everything easy and enjoyable. We had a fantastic two-night stay and would definitely come back next time we're in Marrakech. Riad Alena is cozy, authentic, and full of heart.

Each of the two rooms we stayed in out of the four had its own Moroccan character. Riad Alena is a beautifully put-together haven at the entrance to the Medina. Abla, Abdulrafor, Abdelhamid, and Fatimazahra treated us like family. Their warmth and welcome made the stay, and we loved how much attention they put into everything, especially the food. We can't wait to return to Alena. See you soon!

Riad Alena was a quiet home base in the middle of the hectic Marrakech medina, and that was priceless. The staff made our stay, too: after we arrived early from an overnight flight, they let us into our room early so we could nap. Breakfast was delicious each day and ready whenever we were. The riad has just four cozy rooms that looked exactly like the pictures, with no surprises. It's near the edge of the medina, so you don't have to haul luggage down cobbled streets to get there. A secluded alley keeps it quiet, with no noise outside the window. A wonderful, peaceful place that checks all the right boxes.

We spent two wonderful weeks at Riad Alena. The setting was refined, the rooms comfortable, and the whole place wonderfully peaceful. From the warm welcome onward, the attentive, caring team made sure everything was just right. It felt like a magical escape in the heart of Marrakech, and I highly recommend it.
