The hotel inside is closed, and the pool is empty and run down, which makes the whole property look a little neglected. It’s a shame, since the neighbourhood has lovely villas. Still, the assistance was good overall, and the security staff were friendly and caring.
The surroundings are nice, and the staff are pleasant, but the hotel is run very poorly. It doesn’t match what’s described online. The indoor pool wasn’t working, despite being advertised as open all year. WiFi was so unstable that browsing or streaming was impossible, and during our three day stay nobody cleaned. We also ran out of toilet paper. We ordered a tajine once and were told it would take 1.5 hours. After 2.5 hours I asked about it, but it never arrived. When we asked for a discount because the hotel hadn’t delivered what was advertised, they offered us a free dinner, a tajine. Drinks would still have cost extra. It’s 7km from the medina, and getting a cab at a reasonable price is practically impossible. Staff called one to take us to our next hotel, 12km away, and the driver wanted 2,000 DHM. I can’t recommend this place.
