Agafay Desert Hotel

The little window next to the bed has no curtain, so the light woke us at 6am and we couldn't get a full night's rest. Still, it's a lovely, friendly hotel, beautifully decorated and peaceful, with ambient music always playing. The staff were super friendly. Food is a bit expensive, but you're far from restaurants, so that's understandable. Strongly recommend it.

The location is beautiful and the staff are very friendly, but the rooms are small and the food is mediocre. It feels overpriced. I can see it working well for families, though I wouldn't recommend it for a solo trip or for a couple without children.

We were amazed from the very first moment and right through to leaving. The place felt like a little piece of heaven in every corner, and the food was delicious. The young, talented staff brought so much warmth, professionalism, and positive energy. We absolutely loved staying here! ❤️

The place mixes old royal touches, modern interiors, and traditional building materials in a really striking way. We were the only guests one night, and the attentive staff made us a wonderful candlelit three-course dinner and a honeymoon cake. Afterwards, four of them played live traditional music on guitar. It felt magical, and they clearly go out of their way to make a stay memorable.
