The motel-style setup made it easy to get from the parking area straight to our room, which worked really well on our motorcycle trip around Atlas. We spent one night at the Timnay in late April 2026. The staff were friendly, the pool was cool and clean, and breakfast had a great buffet. We’d stay again, especially on another road trip.

At midday, the nearby nature reserve was quiet and beautiful, and I thoroughly recommend the short trail there. The riads were spacious, well maintained, and heated well. There was also a good choice of meals at the restaurant, with attentive service.

We had plenty of room for our 7 metre motorhome on the pitches, and the pool was a nice extra. During our pleasant two-night stop, the facilities were clean and the showers had hot water. We enjoyed the restaurant food too, and our waiter Jamal was friendly and attentive.

The food was really delicious, and the place itself felt nice and comfortable. Chef Karim was especially kind to us and gave excellent service. Many thanks to him, he was amazing.

Dinner had plenty of flavor, and the room was large and comfortable. The location between Fes and Merzouga was convenient, and I can overlook the unreliable WiFi given where it is. Breakfast was the letdown: several things didn’t seem fresh, hot items had gone cold, and staff were slow to restock.
