The bed was very comfortable, the pillows were good quality, and staff came in daily to tidy the room. We also had a great view of the Atlas mountains from the very top of the roof terrace. We booked dinner one evening, and the two courses were very good. During our visit, from 23 February to 2 March 2026, we stayed in what I think was double room no. 9, with a shower and toilet in the room. The service was still very good even though it was Ramadan. The staff had to watch us eat while preparing our food, but we didn’t really notice any other difference. The soundproofing was nonexistent. I’m not sure if it was our room or the plumbing, but you could hear people peeing and every toilet flushing. Our room was on the first floor, so we could also hear breakfast being set out and the muzak playing. I guess that’s part of the riad’s open plan layout. I wouldn’t recommend it for a romantic time in your room unless you’re VERY quiet. Maybe the rooms on the roof terrace would be safer for romance.

The open courtyard, full of greenery and natural light, was one of the lovely details at Riad Armelle. The rooms were calm and comfortable, with beautiful authentic decor that made it easy to disconnect. Everywhere I looked, there was Moroccan artistry, from the carved wooden ceilings and hand-crafted tiles to the archways. The riad manages to feel intimate and grand at once. The atmosphere is peaceful and refined, with a real sense of Marrakech’s elegance, warmth, and timeless charm. It’s an experience that stays with you after you leave. A hidden jewel, absolutely unforgettable.

The breakfast was very good, and the staff were super friendly, happy to help with anything. We stayed seven nights and would have stayed longer. Riad Armelle is traditional, comfortable, and a little haven amid the hustle and bustle. We’re so pleased we chose it over a larger hotel. Thank you so much! Definitely recommend.

The streets outside are chaotic, but inside Riad Armelle it’s so peaceful. It’s beautifully decorated in an authentic Moroccan style, within the old town walls and an easy walk to the square and market. A special thank you to their driver Omar, who took us to the Atlas mountains and camel riding. He was awesome. Thank you, Riad Armelle and Omar, for a wonderful four days.

The streets around the riad are narrower and more chaotic than most of the medina, but the riad itself is a peaceful oasis. It’s amazing and beautiful, with wonderful staff. I’d read a comment saying the AC was weak and felt a bit skeptical, but that wasn’t our experience at all. We turned the air conditioning up so high we were freezing, with 40 degrees Celsius outside.
