The location worked well for getting into town, with a wide road that felt safe and buses and taxis nearby. It was also quiet at night, so we slept well. The rooms and bathroom were very clean, the shower was warm, and the service was friendly. Breakfast was very good, with breads and pastries, a freshly cooked egg, and pressed juice. The lobby looked lovely, and the paintings in the rooms and hallways were breathtaking. The garden looked nice, though we didn’t visit since it was winter.

There’s a lot of potential here, and the location is excellent, right in the centre of town and about 15 minutes from the Medina centre, restaurants, shops, and main avenues. Our ground-floor basement room was cosy, with a comfortable bed, and first impressions were good. The cleaning lady did a great job looking after our room. Still, the hotel felt run down. Ashtrays were left unemptied for days, the pool needed cleaning, the rooftop terrace that used to be a restaurant was closed, and the sun loungers were rather dirty. Breakfast wasn’t great either. The front entrance stopped working on day three, and nobody seemed to try to fix it, so we used the back door for the remaining four days. The path to it was untended on both sides and looked bad. With some effort, this could be a lovely little boutique hotel.

The staff were friendly, helpful, and proactive, and the location in Guéliz was very convenient. We loved our stay and will definitely return when we’re in Marrakesh again.

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were kind and helpful, and the hotel is close to the tourist sights, around a 12-minute walk from the Marrakesh market.

We got there very early for check-in and were still greeted warmly. When we couldn’t find the entrance, the cat even showed us the way. Our room was spacious and the staff were very helpful.
