Riad Al Nour

Bonbon, the resident cat, made the courtyard even more inviting, with its orange tree canopy and central fountain. We especially loved the candlelit dinners there, with soft Moroccan music and the sound of water in the otherwise quiet courtyard at Riad Al Nour. Those evenings were a highlight of our Morocco trip. We spent four nights in the house section, Dar Al Nour, and had dinner included at Riad Al Nour. The meals were different Moroccan dishes each day. We had the whole house to ourselves, and the cleaning staff came daily with fresh towels and cleaned whenever needed. The rooms were spacious, and we were extremely happy with the facilities and service. Mohamed, the manager, was always smiling and happy to help. He even bought us a tajine at a local price, almost three to four times less than the prices offered to tourists.

We got a little lost trying to find Riad Al Nour, but once we arrived, we loved the beautiful interior and how warmly the staff welcomed us. I also loved hearing the birds in the morning, and Bon Bon the cat was such a sweetheart. Restaurants, souks, landmarks, and other attractions are all within walking distance.

The breakfast was tasty and filling, a lovely start to each day, and Bonbon the cat was a great ambassador for Riad Al Nour. The riad was our first stop in Morocco, and it turned out to be a winner. It's well located for getting to the souks and the rest of the medina, and the main square is nearby too. Spending an evening there is an event in itself. Mohammed, the manager, was friendly and welcoming, and arranged everything we needed, from airport transport and taxis to a really fun souks tour. We'd gladly stay again.

Mohammed and Kaamel were both so helpful. The staff made us feel at home from the moment we arrived, always friendly and ready to help with whatever we needed. Riad Al Nour has beautiful traditional decor and a peaceful feel, from the charming courtyard to the thoughtfully designed rooms. The adorable cat who lives there was another lovely part of the stay. We had a wonderful time.
