The location is great, right by the Medina, and the front desk staff are very nice. You can ask them for a hairdryer, and they can put together a simple breakfast box if you need to check out early. The pillows are super hard and the cats can be noisy, but it’s a fair price and you can stay for a couple of nights. I’d recommend it to anyone looking to spend less while still getting a certain level of quality close to the Medina.

The location is very good, and reception service was alright, but the stay was disappointing. After a rainy night, breakfast was in a room with a strange smell, and many tables were dirty and hadn’t been set up for guests. The room was the biggest letdown. After a shower, the bathroom got completely wet, and poor ventilation meant the towels never dried. Worst of all, I was covered in bedbug bites after two nights, which made the stay very unpleasant.

The staff were incredibly kind. I had to check out early and would miss breakfast, so they packed a light meal for me to take along. Maybe that sort of hospitality is ordinary in Japan, but being treated so kindly abroad really touched me. The riad is inexpensive and just a two-minute walk from Fna Square, on a side street a little away from the busy area. It felt safe, not dangerous at all. It’s old but very cute, and the lantern in the room gives it a stylish feel when lit at night. The bathroom and toilet are shared. Breakfast was served with care, though it didn’t have much flavor. Affordable, safe, close to the center, and such kind staff. A truly wonderful riad!

The reception team were friendly and very helpful, and the hotel is an easy walk from the souks, just 250 metres from Jenna el-fna market. The rooms are basic, with only a few having private bathrooms. Breakfast was okay but very limited, and the bathroom could use some updating.
