Riad Nafis

We felt safe here as two women traveling, and the room was clean and comfortable. The location just outside the Medina was convenient, and the staff were welcoming and made sure we had what we needed. Breakfast was delicious every day. We had an incredible stay at Riad Nafis and would come back.

The staff were nice, which was the one good thing for me. I wouldn’t return to the Riad or this area. It felt a bit sketchy and not especially clean or pleasant, set far back in a maze and away from the usual paths. There wasn’t much going on nearby unless you went to the markets. I’ve traveled extensively, and this is one place I wouldn’t visit again. I was also made to pay cash on arrival despite booking through hotels.com, and at about 9pm had to go find an ATM. At best, I’d call it a two-star accommodation.

The rooftop was such a lovely place to sit, and they welcomed us there with mint tea and delicious pastries. Yassime and the team were wonderful, and nothing felt like too much trouble. The rooms were stylish, and breakfast was amazing. Yassime arranged our trips and even sorted airport transfers for 4 in the morning, setting his alarm and checking the car had arrived. He did everything he could to make the trip relaxing and worry free. We felt safe, and the location was great, near the royal palace and only a 15-minute walk to the center. Thank you, Yassime.

The pool downstairs and terrace upstairs were both great, and the room and facilities were fantastic. The place was very clean, and breakfast was lovely, with a different spread across the four mornings we stayed. It’s handy for getting into the medina. From arrival, the staff took great care of us and were among the kindest, most hospitable people we’ve met. They brought us complimentary Moroccan tea and snacks on the terrace, and Mr Yassine shared really useful information and tips the next morning. We’ll be back insh’allah!
