The food was a letdown, and 150 MAD felt far too high for the quality. The vegetable tagine was very bland, with hardly any flavor or traditional spices, and the salad was mediocre. The fruit salad was underwhelming too. They pressed us to pay in cash, which felt unprofessional and made me suspect they might be avoiding taxes. The whole experience felt like a tourist trap and a complete rip-off. Save your money and eat somewhere else.

We only ate here, so I can’t comment on the rooms. The view was nice, but that’s the only thing I’d recommend. It was very busy, the staff were really unfriendly, and the food was bland and much too expensive. We were made to take a set menu and couldn’t order just a main course. For 130 Dirham, we got a salad, one shared pot of tajine that had no flavor or spices, and a plate of fruit, which was fine. The waiter didn’t bring glasses and told us to get our own drinks from the fridge. There were only three choices, chicken, beef, or vegetable tajine. I understand they were busy, but it felt like a rip-off and wasn’t anything to write home about.

Tour groups come for lunch every day, so the terrace can get crowded and noisy. This place seems more focused on the restaurant, and people often stay just one or two nights. The terrace itself is quite nice, maybe with a better view than many nearby riads, and the price seemed reasonable. The receptionist gentleman came across as a bit tense, while Mohammed was the only friendly staff member. Breakfast could have been prepared with a little more thought.

The chicken they served us was raw, and the food was only average. We paid 150 dirhams each for stale bread, salad, and a few skewers. When we asked for a discount because the meat was raw, he said the original price was 200 dirhams each, which is an absolute joke. Avoid this place and go somewhere else.
