La Kasbah du Jardin

We stayed in the camping car area, a functional, construction-zone sort of setup that felt like an afterthought. It’s an open dirt and gravel space without marked parking spots. The electrical connections worked well, but gave my vehicle a shock. After looking around, I found one working toilet, so bring your own paper, and two hot showers with excellent pressure. There was also a small cold-water sink where I washed dishes. I couldn’t find a cooking area. A bare hose was available for refilling water, and there was a place to dump waste. Nobody came to greet us or show us around, and nobody tried to sell us food or services. Staff or residents seemed to pass through the back area, perhaps for a rental or another facility. No dogs bothered us. We skipped the pool because of the weather, but it looked bright and well kept. There are lots of unexplained doorways without labels or numbers on the way to the office and dining area. Wi-Fi only worked in the main building, and although there seemed to be a repeater in the camping area, nobody gave us the password. We had a delicious meal in the dining room, with excellent flavors and small portions at fair prices. Staff were kind, though a bit disorganized. The camping area clearly isn’t the focus, but clearing the trash and construction clutter and improving its appearance for an hour would make it feel much more welcoming. It works as it is and is great value for the price. This place could become fancy and expensive.
