The reception team were very helpful, and the housekeeping staff were friendly and just as helpful. The room was large, well equipped, and had a comfortable bed. Breakfast was quite good, with vegetarian options. It’s also ideally placed for exploring the town.

The location is good, and the rooms were clean and tidy, but the Wi-Fi was slow and breakfast service painfully slow. It wasn’t what I expected from this hotel. There was no hot water in the shower, so I had to use cold water. I waited 40 minutes in line just to get coffee. All in all, a pretty average stay.

I’ve stayed here four times, but sadly this will be my last. Prices keep rising while the breakfast and upkeep keep getting worse. The shower had rust, and although the room was clean, it was very poorly maintained. The breakfast rules make no sense. You can’t choose what you eat, and some weeks they let you take leftovers while other weeks they don’t. You pay for breakfast, and it isn’t a buffet, so I don’t understand the inconsistency. It makes me wonder if they’re trying to sell food that guests have left untouched, which doesn’t seem very hygienic. Things need to improve, or the hotel will lose good customers to other places nearby.

The manager treated my family and me badly. We’d been looking forward to celebrating our holiday, but it turned out the opposite way. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.
