Palais Mirage D'atlas

The staff's kindness stood out most. They looked after us throughout, and later even brought complimentary ice cream, a thoughtful gesture. We really enjoyed the delicious food and well-made drinks too. At Hotel Mirage d’Atlas in Marrakech, Morocco, the interior was beautiful and atmospheric as soon as we arrived, and the bathing area looked inviting. Both pools were delightful, one warmer than the other, and the water was wonderful. It was a calming, refreshing visit, and we had an amazing time together. Definitely recommended for relaxing and unwinding.

Lunch was average, and it would've been handy to scan a QR code to order drinks from the lounger. Still, we enjoyed a relaxed day by a nice, clean pool. There was plenty of comfortable seating, and the staff were attentive when we arrived, bringing towels and helping us get a sunbed where we wanted it. We had a good day :-)

We left our towels on the sunbeds while we went to the Yves Saint Laurent Museum, and they were still there when we got back a few hours later. Soukaina was friendly and helpful the whole time. We were each given a complimentary mojito for leaving a review, but these comments are completely genuine. The pool was clean and not too crowded, and there were comfortable chairs and loungers in both sunny and shaded spots among the beautiful, peaceful gardens. Lunch by the pool was nice. My burger came out a bit undercooked at first, but the staff quickly replaced it with a much better one. The pizza was okay, nothing special, though it filled the gap. It was a lovely, peaceful place to spend the day.

The rooms are spacious and the hotel itself is beautiful, with lots of greenery, but the rooms are old and poorly maintained. Cleanliness and room service were below par. Breakfast was average, while the reception and restaurant staff were friendly and kind. We had a horrible experience with the tourism agent, Nabil. He wasn't clear about the trip arrangement and ended up tricking us into taking a guided tour of the old souq, which doesn't really need a guide. When we challenged him, he was rude, raised his voice, and wouldn't listen. Management ignored the issue when we escalated it. It ruined our experience and left us tiptoeing around staff and reception until checkout. Not recommended. There are lots of other places at the same price, closer to the city center.
