Being able to walk to both the Medina and beach made the location especially convenient. We were given a generous upgrade to an apartment with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a Smart TV, and a large balcony. One bathroom had no shower divider, so a little water got on the floor, but it was a minor issue. We found the place very comfortable and high quality, a great spot to relax in Asilah.

The location is handy, close to the old town, but that was the only good part for us. We’ve stayed in many places around Morocco, and this was easily the worst. We wisely kept our stay to one night, and left feeling deeply disappointed. The apartment felt neglected from the start. There was a strong sewage and smoke smell, old worn furniture, a couch with burn marks, and a bed that seemed decades old. It also wasn’t properly cleaned, with dirt in the corners and dust everywhere. A bright blue boiler light shone through the apartment all night, with no switch or way to cover it, so sleeping was almost impossible. At night, we could hear neighbours dragging furniture, shouting, and kids screaming. There was no sound insulation. The welcome and service were just as bad. At the so-called reception, the man snapped his fingers and muttered “passports,” without greeting us or offering any information. When we checked out, nobody asked about our stay or said goodbye. We got a cold “OK.” We booked at the last minute because the town looked beautiful, but the stay was terrible from arrival. This is a run-down apartment with no service, care, or standards. Don’t waste your time or money if you’re considering staying longer.

The apartment was clean and comfortable, and the staff were courteous, kind, and very helpful. We stayed for three nights at a very reasonable price, with spectacular views and a great location. There are several excellent restaurants within walking distance. Asilah itself is a beautiful coastal town, and its Medina is lovely. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

The view from the windows is lovely, especially in the morning, and the apartment is bright, spacious, and exceptionally clean. It’s thoughtfully set up for a comfortable stay. The staff were excellent, always friendly and ready to help. A special thanks to Bachir for being so attentive and kind, he made our stay even more enjoyable. Many thanks for the great service.
