Kasbah Tizzarouine

The view over Boumalne Dades was stunning, and the whole place had the atmosphere you want to experience in Morocco. I loved the traditional Kasbah fortress design so much I couldn't stop taking pictures. The staff were warm and attentive, and dinner with the traditional musicians was a real treat. It's a long way out, but a great stop on the way to the Sahara, especially for a relaxing afternoon.

Dinner with the sunset and breakfast with those huge mountains made the views a real part of our stay. The food wasn't fancy, but it was tasty, and since there was no alcohol, we toasted with Coca-Cola. Our room had an exotic feel and was clean. When the shower drain overflowed, the front desk moved us to another room right away, which I appreciated. Each room has a private outdoor garden, and I was amazed that our laundry dried just 15 minutes after we hung it up. The grounds were spacious with flowers in bloom, and the building was stylish and comfortable. On our first trip to Morocco from Japan, we stopped here in our tour guide's car on the way from Marrakech to the Sahara. It was so far, but worth the journey.

Our guided trip had taken us to several hotels by then, and this was the best one so far. I'd recommend it 😊

The pool and the grounds around the hotel were really well cared for, and the view was amazing. We loved staying here. Our room was beautiful and kept in great shape, and all the staff were super friendly and helpful.
