From its spot high on a hillock, this nice hotel in Dades has good views. The rooms are comfortable, but the open bathroom beside the entrance is ridiculous. The food is good, though vegetarian choices are limited. The tea is bitter, and the spa prices are high.

The hotel is beautiful and must be nice in warmer weather, but winter was rough. It was freezing everywhere except the rooms, and we ate dinner in our coats. Hot water ran out quickly, so only the fastest guests got a hot shower. It’s hard to reach and seems to be used mostly by tour companies.

The sunsets are stunning, and everything was really clean. The staff were helpful too, and I want to come back as soon as I can. In smaller Moroccan towns, bring earplugs, since donkeys, dogs, or cockerels may wake you. That wouldn’t stop me from returning in an instant.

The beds were really cozy, and we had good food and friendly service. We stayed for one night while traveling from Marrakech to Merzouga. It’s a very nice hotel with a beautiful view of the city.
