Flamant Rose Appart Hôtel

The breakfast was fresh, tasty, and nicely presented, and our children are having a fantastic time here. This is our second visit. The place feels comfortable and welcoming, and compared with many five-star hotels we've stayed in, it stands out for its service and atmosphere. The staff are consistently professional, friendly, well trained, and quick to help with questions or requests. We highly recommend it and look forward to coming back.

Everything went smoothly during my stay last September, and I didn't run into any problems. The room was cleaned nicely every day, breakfast had a good range of options, and the staff were responsible and respectful. I really liked the hotel and would definitely recommend it to anyone coming to Tangier.

The room itself was spacious and fine, and I slept well in the bed. But the hair dryer was cheap and barely usable, with weak airflow and a button I had to keep pressed the whole time. Bring your own. I left feedback through Booking and the manager said they'd replace the hair dryers. I wonder if they will. Check-in was a struggle because the staff seemed to need more training. They couldn't charge my preferred card, so I had to use a different one, which was inconvenient. Breakfast was a really disappointing start to the day. The staff weren't friendly, the choices were very limited, and the quality was poor. Even the tea water tasted bad. There was only one small glass of juice. I asked for coffee because the tea was undrinkable, and was told I'd have to pay extra. I must have looked disappointed, because a few minutes later she brought coffee and said it was free. Compared with hotels around the world, this was the cheapest and least generous breakfast. You could pick one item, not a combination. I got a small muffin with a little egg and salmon, the Norviega breakfast, but there was no fresh fruit or yogurt, and no coffee refill. I left hungry. There wasn't any tea in the room either. Good luck at this hotel.

The staff were especially welcoming and helpful, and both breakfast and the evening meal were very good, with dinner well above average. We had a spacious, airy apartment with a small balcony and a view. There was a lot of new plastic, so VOCs were a slight concern. Although the building is modern, we could hear some street noise at night in late January. When it's hotter, local AC noise might mask it. We had no complaints or other issues.
