The staff were friendly and helpful, and the place was clean, but it was old inside and had a broken window. The location was very noisy. For what I paid, I don't think the hotel was worth three stars.

It's not luxurious, just as if time stopped here. This historic hotel has been perfectly preserved, which makes it a good fit if you want to experience Casablanca's past. It's well placed for the medina and Art Deco district, and the central market and its seafood restaurants are just five minutes away.

We picked this place for its Art Deco look, but maybe it should only be sold from the outside. It may have been the best a hundred years ago; now it's definitely the worst. The hotel is run down, with windows that won't shut, shutters stuck halfway open, worn sheets, and missing bulbs. It was noisy and hot. The second floor is used for appointments.
