Hyatt Regency Casablanca

The room was a little dated, but the suite upgrade as a Globalist gave us a very large room, and the service was absolutely exceptional. Breakfast was incredible, one of the highlights of my stay. I was in Morocco on vacation and stayed here after my flight arrived. The airport transfer was very reliable, and our driver was courteous. It was a great experience.

The staff made my husband's birthday during our family trip really memorable. The lady manager, whose name I unfortunately can't recall, kindly helped with a special request, and I'm so grateful to her and the team for making the celebration so wonderful. The hotel is also conveniently located near the market, and the service from the staff was outstanding.

The room was nice and had a view, and it was a wonderful night at the Hyatt in that respect. What spoiled it was the way the airport ride was handled. We asked on arrival whether there was a hotel shuttle for the next morning. All three front desk agents nodded yes, and the woman helping us said she'd booked it. We checked again after dinner, confirming 6:30, and she said yes again. At 6:30, the same woman told us it was actually a taxi and that we'd need 300dhr in cash for the driver. She asked if we had cash and pointed out the ATMs before we left. I miss when hospitality service had higher standards. It's sad to see poor service hurt the reputation of such a great building and all the work behind it. Maybe I'm old school.

The luggage storage for a few hours after checkout was great, and the employees were very nice. I stayed as a Globalist and got a very nice suite with a great view of the mosque, though the room felt a bit dated. Service was slightly slow. Breakfast was disappointing. With so many people there, the food had run out and wasn't being replenished. I waited 10 minutes in line for eggs, and there wasn't much else available, so eggs were the only option.
