Hôtel Les Saisons

The concierge was friendly and very helpful, and the hotel is close to most attractions. The cleaning staff were lovely too: they mopped and tidied every day and restocked the toilet paper and toiletries. I appreciated that, though I didn’t get clean towels daily. My room was 511, and there were several things that needed attention. The building and décor felt old. The bed linen, doona cover, pillow slips, and towels smelled unpleasant, and the cover had turned yellowish from white. The sheer curtains had holes and needed cleaning. After the room was shut up during the day, it smelled of cigarette smoke, which was especially unpleasant since I’m asthmatic. The shower head sprayed water in every direction instead of down and needed replacing. The hair dryer didn’t work at all. The AC struggled, and after being out all day I came back to a hot, stuffy room, even with the window open. It was an okay stay, but the room needs maintenance and more attention to cleanliness.

Money was taken from my wallet in my hotel room, and I had to deal with the police myself because the hotel staff gave me no real help. Management never got in touch to apologize or follow up. The lobby attendant was the only person who showed concern, but she didn’t have the authority to do anything. This was very concerning, and based on what happened I strongly advise avoiding this hotel.

The staff were very attentive, the rooms clean, and the facilities good. Breakfast was an excellent continental spread with enough Moroccan flavour to make you curious.

Omar was very helpful with his recommendations, and I’d stay again. The room was clean and comfortable, breakfast decent, and the staff friendly and discreet. The AC was off because it wasn’t hot, so I had to leave the window open and put up with a lot of street noise late into the evening. With the window closed the room was very quiet, but…
