We especially enjoyed lunch and dinner, with daily chef specials and delicious, well-prepared stews cooked in a tagine. On two nights, low-key musicians played pleasant live music during dinner. The grounds at Le Jardin des Douars are beautiful and elegant, and the rooms were spotless, spacious and even nicer than the photos suggest. Service was top notch from reception, restaurants, the pool bar and housekeeping. The staff were warm and multilingual, switching easily between English and French so international guests all felt equally welcome and cared for. We found the whole stay incredibly relaxing and beautiful.

We had a lovely stay. The hotel is beautiful and the food was amazing. One suggestion about the shuttle bus to essaouira: with so many people using it, they could set specific times and charge less. We got a taxi for half the price.

The hotel itself was fine and felt like a decent premium stay, but I left feeling frustrated. I left my wireless earbuds by the swimming pool table on Saturday, and when I came back about 12 hours later, they were gone. I know it was my mistake to leave them unattended for so long, but losing something valuable at a hotel of this caliber was upsetting. Take this as a lesson from my mistake: keep phones, wallets and electronics secured in the in-room safe instead of leaving them unattended in public areas, especially around the pool. 😏

We spent a week at Jardin des Douars and wished we could have stayed longer. The place is stunning, with lovely decor, and the service was the best. The staff were professional, really nice and warm. The food was great too, traditional with a twist. Thanks for making our stay so memorable and beautiful.
