Dar mimosa

We loved having the countryside views from our balcony, and the room was spotless, spacious, and beautifully decorated. The hosts, Francoise and Yves, made us feel at home right away and helped with everything we needed. Dar Mimosa is about 20 minutes from the busy town, so we could relax by the pool or on the terrace surrounded by nature. The villa is amazing, and we had a wonderful time. We’d happily return and stay longer.

Dar Mimosa was a better start to my Morocco trip than I could have hoped for. I came for a quiet stay in the countryside, and the beautiful views, luxurious rooms, and wonderful hospitality made the experience just right. Francoise, Yves, and the staff made us feel so welcome. I’d encourage anyone to give it a try.

The road in was a little rough, but once you arrive it feels like Eden. We came in 2026 and only stayed a few days, though I’d gladly have stayed a whole week. Essaouira is just 15 minutes away, with plenty to do and buy, from the souk to horse riding, surfing, and kitesurfing. Our family suite had a huge bathroom and comfortable terraces, and you can head up to the rooftop to watch the stars at night. The view from the suite was amazing, the pool was just right, and the service was impeccable. Paradise on Earth!

The house is wonderfully quiet and relaxing, with a pool, garden, and a terrace that gets lovely morning sun for breakfast. It’s close to Essaouira, and arriving at the airport there was a real plus: near the house without the drawbacks. You can also eat at the property, with Moroccan meals and other dishes, even crepes. France, Yves, and Wafa gave us an exceptional welcome and did everything they could to make our trip pleasant. They were always happy to share tips and chat. A comfortable home and a wonderful experience. Thank you.
