Right in the centre, with lovely, quirky decor. We stopped here while travelling south in January 2024. The owner greeted us with mint tea and was really helpful setting up the SIM we’d bought at the port. We’ll definitely make it a stop on our next trip in 2026. Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay. The family is so sweet, and the breakfast was amazing. The interior design feels like a work of art, and the beds are big. Even though it’s right in the medina, it was super quiet, and there’s a lot of fresh air for a road. It used to be their family home, and it’s a Moroccan family business, which makes it a good spot if you want to visit Chefchaouan as ethically as you can. The coffee was really good too 🫶🫶🫶

Ossama and his father took good care of us, including serving a substantial breakfast. We loved the roof terrace, and the place felt calm despite its ideal location. A real gem, with beautifully designed rooms in eclectic colours.

The price didn’t feel justified by the stay. Getting around the old town location was tricky: GPS hardly worked, and we couldn’t reach the owner when we tried to ask for directions. The stairs were a bigger concern, too. They’re narrow and steep, and because of the layout, the second-floor room feels more like it’s on the third or fourth floor. My older friend, who isn’t very steady on his feet, found them unsafe, especially carrying luggage at check-in and checkout. In the bathroom, the hot and cold water was difficult to balance; the faucet looks nice but isn’t practical, and the water pressure is quite low.
