The rooftop view is beautiful, and the place is right in the center. Antonio welcomed us warmly and was kind and helpful from the moment we arrived. Our room was cozy, comfortable, and clean, and the shared bathrooms stayed clean too. The hot water was great. I really appreciated having a shared kitchen with everything we needed, especially to warm up water for my mate in the morning 🧉🇦🇷😅

Lovely hostel in the heart of the medina, and the owner is very nice. Just be aware there are lots of stairs, so it’s not a good fit if walking is difficult.

Antonio was so friendly. He even called to check we were on our way when we hadn’t arrived on time, and later offered to arrange transport and a place to stay in Rabat. We already had that sorted, but it still made us feel welcome. The check-in cutoff is officially 20:00. The bright, colorful rooms made me happy as soon as I saw them. The double bed isn’t very big, but I slept like a baby. Sound carries through the building, so you need to keep your voice down at night. Bathrooms are shared, but the shower was the standout: it felt like bathing in a cave, or a bat cave. The price was great, and the place has a lot of charm even if it isn’t as comfortable as a hotel.

The owner and the other employees were helpful, and the toilets worked well. We had small but nice rooms in a place with an artistic interior. You can use the kitchen, and the hot shower has a striking stone style. The sun terrace must be lovely when it isn’t raining. I’d recommend it in the center of the blue village.

The location is the one real plus. I only spent a night here, but I wish I’d known about the other hassles. My late check-in wasn’t planned, and when I asked to leave my luggage for two extra hours, Abdul got upset, saying he wouldn’t be able to eat lunch on time if I left it longer than two hours. The staff seemed rude and like they didn’t care about guests. The rooms felt stuffy, and if you opened the window, staff were always looking in from outside. The shower was strange and would suddenly get burning hot, apparently when the staff were doing dishes or something. The rate is good, but all these little things were extra annoying.
