Hotel Dar Mounir

The hotel has a lovely terrace, and the reception staff were kind and helpful. Breakfast was tasty and simple, and the beds were fine. The place itself is beautiful and felt truly magical. The bathroom was the letdown: the shower was tiny, its head was broken, and there was an unpleasant smell in the room.

The rooftop terrace had an incredible view over the city. I loved sitting there with coffee in the morning, hearing the call to prayer and the bustle of city life. It’s centrally located, about a 4 minute walk from the square and kasbah, with shops and cats along the way. This was one of the cutest places we stayed during our 2 weeks in Morocco, and it felt like everything I’d want from a Moroccan vacation. The staff were incredible and made us feel welcome, even suggesting places to eat on the nights we stayed. Our ornate rooms were very clean. I especially liked all the windows and the uniquely shaped circular bathroom. If I get the chance to come back, I’ll stay here again.

Great location, close to the central square, Kasbah, restaurants, and shops. It was surprisingly quiet for such a central spot. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I’d absolutely recommend the hotel. Our room felt like a movie set, and both it and the bathroom were clean and comfortable. There were extra blankets, heat, and AC. Breakfast included a scrambled omelet, pastries, yogurt, coffee, tea, juice, spreads, and breads.

The location was perfect, close to the markets and restaurants, and the rooftop had great views. Staff were with us every step of the way, helping us sort out taxis to and from the bus station. Downstairs, breakfast was a small buffet in the restaurant area.
