From the minute I arrived, the staff at Timazin made me feel welcome and looked after every part of my stay. The food was delicious, the amenities were top notch, and the atmosphere was delightful. I had a fantastic time in Dakhla and would recommend Timazin to anyone looking for a memorable stay. Thanks to the whole team for making my visit so special!

We booked this place more than six months ahead for a five-night New Year stay, partly because the listing promised a balcony and a sea view. In August I contacted the hotel to confirm, and they replied in writing that there would be a balcony with a table and chairs. It was also advertised on Booking.com, where we made the reservation, and the listing is still there today. A sea view mattered too, but what we got was a view of the building site opposite, with no garden or sea view. At check-in we found out that the hotel has no rooms with balconies at all. The junior staff said nothing could be done, and when I asked for a manager, none was available. The promised kettle was missing too. We looked for somewhere else, but prices had gone up a lot since we booked. I feel Booking.com takes the accommodation’s side because it gets at least a 15% fee. We book more than 80 nights a year through them, but after this experience we won’t anymore. If you don’t want a room that differs from what you ordered, don’t book this hotel. They don’t care, and neither does Booking.com.

The location gave us a peaceful stay while still making it easy to explore Dakhla. We had stunning views, attentive staff who were always accommodating, and top notch amenities. Every part of our stay at TIMAZINE Hotel went beyond what I expected. I’m looking forward to coming back and making more great memories there.
