Dar Nor Riad

Breakfast on the rooftop was a treat, and the terrace is lovely for watching the sun go down over the ocean. The place was clean and comfortable, and the staff were always friendly and happy to help with anything.

We arrived to a really warm welcome, and Omar kept checking in with us during our stay. After the earthquake, despite the chaos and whatever the staff must have been dealing with themselves, breakfast was ready when we returned. Omar and Sied did everything they could to help us feel safe, and we appreciated it all. I'd absolutely stay here again and recommend it.

The room had a lovely local feel, and the host's warmth made our stay at Riad Dar Nor in Essaouira especially memorable. Service was excellent throughout. It was peaceful and welcoming, and I can't wait to return. Highly recommend for a visit to Essaouira.

We were so upset by what happened that we left, even though we'd booked two more nights. My friend and I had agreed on a price with the manager, who seemed pleasant at first. The next morning, after breakfast, we went up to the roof to relax and enjoy the ocean. The owner was playing music very loudly through a speaker right up there, so we politely asked if he could turn it down a little. The music stopped, but then he came upstairs shouting that it was his house and he could do whatever he wanted, and that we had no right to say anything. He told us we could leave the room. We felt attacked for no reason, and had to move out, which ruined our day. I've never dealt with anyone so arrogant, disrespectful, and mean. He may seem nice at first, but beware. It's shameful what people will do for money.
