Riad Al Manara

Our room felt bright thanks to its tall windows, and the bed was really comfortable, with soft silky sheets and good pillows. The riad sits right in the Medina, yet inside it’s peaceful. Clean and modern while keeping its original features, with a generous breakfast and lovely staff. A perfect place to stay.

We had the best riad breakfast of our week in Morocco here, eggs, fruit salad and plenty more, served up on the rooftop. The room was lovely and very clean, with thoughtful extras like bathrobes and cotton pads. Wafa, the owner, was so sweet and helpful, and spoke perfect English and French. The best riad we stayed in that week. Thank you, we’d highly recommend it!

The rooftop room was warm even in winter, with heaters in the room, and breakfast up there was perfect. We could help ourselves to free tea and coffee at reception, and they sold SIM cards at cost, for example 30 dirhams for 7 days and 2 GB. The riad is spacious, clean and recently renovated, right in the Medina center, with lovely beds. They also gave us restaurant recommendations. We stayed two nights.

I had a great stay, and this was my favorite place on my Morocco trip. The rooftop view was lovely, and the rooms were beautiful with comfy beds, good pillows and soft sheets. Staff were helpful, and breakfast was generous, though it isn’t vegan friendly. Getting cash was difficult: it took several hours and multiple trips to the one reliable ATM in town, so I wish they accepted credit cards. Aside from that, first class from start to finish.
