I only stayed two nights, and wished I’d booked longer in Essaouira. Ismail, the manager, and Omar, the owner, both helped make the stay a good one. The room was clean and comfortable, close to the town’s main street, and breakfast was included and great. When I ran into trouble with my next booking, everyone tried to help. Good value for money, and I’d choose this dar again.

We had an amazing time here, so I’m not sure why some reviews are negative. It’s one of the best places we stayed in Morocco. It isn’t cheap, but I thought it was worth the price. Breakfast was good, and the rooftop view was amazing. We even got lucky and saw a double rainbow from up there. I’d highly recommend it.

We’re already thinking about another trip after an amazing week here. Breakfast was plentiful, with lots to enjoy, and the team at Riad Dar Awil were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help us have a good stay. The location is close to everything, while the street itself is quieter than some others. Thanks to the whole team!

After a tiring trip through the desert, we were so glad to find this place. The location is stunning, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was great. Breakfast was a 10 out of 10, and they even went out of their way to get gluten free bread for my partner. We’ll stay here again when we’re next in essaouira.
