The manager was really helpful. A wonderful riad if you want to spend a few nights right in the middle of the medina.

It feels surprisingly comfortable from the moment you arrive, and I'd happily come back, especially at such a low price. The place is chic and clean, and feels much pricier than it is. There's a rooftop, fresh towels, and a bathroom shared with one or two other people. For value, it's hard to beat. The air can be a little damp, though I think that's common in such a central spot. The staff are great and share food and surf recommendations.

The Google Maps photos don't match what we found. The riad was filthy, with a strong sewage smell throughout, so there was no way to spend even one peaceful night. Spider webs were everywhere too. I had booked 3 nights but had to shorten my vacation because of the condition. Stay away!

The riad itself looks nice, and being deep in the medina made finding my way back at night an adventure. My room was humid and had just one window, which I couldn't open, though I don't know if that was specific to that room. I'd reserved a room two days ahead, but when I arrived it had been given to someone else, so I had to stay in the one I'd mentioned.
