Villa des Hauts Mogador

The place is stunning, stylish, clean and relaxing. Ulysse the dog is so lovely and cute. Pierre, Nadia and their staff were kind and helpful, including when we were sick, and with restaurant suggestions and other things. Breakfast could have had a bit more variety.

A good breakfast is served here, and you can get beer on request or dinner if you ask in advance. This little villa sits in the hills above Essaouira and has six beautifully designed rooms, a sizeable pool and plenty of tucked-away seating for different occasions. There's room to relax and lovely food, and the family who run it are lovely. It's a great option if you don't want to stay in the busy town, especially since most places in town don't have a pool. I'd highly recommend it.

My friend and I spent five very relaxing nights here, and we're definitely coming back. The villa is luxurious, clean and surrounded by beautiful gardens and peaceful nature. Samira was a wonderful host and cook, with helpful tips for finding a massage and having dinner in the medina. She also arranged a very good airport transfer both ways. Breakfast was delicious, mixing European and Moroccan food. Book here if you want an incredibly relaxing week.
