The bed was so comfortable that we plotted ridiculous ways to take it back to Australia. The decor is spectacular, and the whole property is spotless. Although Dar Malika is in the heart of Fez medina, it's a calm little sanctuary where we could duck in during the day to refresh and refuel before heading back into the color and chaos of the souks. Hassan, the property manager, met us at the Blue Gate, handled our luggage, and brought a wonderful, bright presence each morning along with an incredibly generous breakfast. Thank you, Hassan, for the personal and professional care, and Suzanna for imagining and creating such a beautiful place. My partner and I loved our three nights here and were sad to leave. We thoroughly recommend Dar Malika if you want your Fez visit to be memorable for all the right reasons.

This was the one place we didn't like during our eight days traveling around Morocco. The inn's manager was rude and talked down to both us and our driver. Our room was outside the inn, with a door straight onto the alley and only a metal gate for security, which made us uneasy. None of the locks worked properly, and getting into the main living area meant a whole ordeal with several doors to lock and unlock. Wi-Fi didn't reach our room, so we had to go to the main living room to use it. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

A cheerful, colorful house right in the heart of Fez's old Medina, in one of its best areas. It has four bedrooms and four bathrooms, and a lovely host from Australia.

Mohammed, the carer, and Susan, the owner, gave us helpful guidance that made exploring fez easier. The breakfast was well prepared and served. This lovely three-story house is right in the centre of Fes Medinah, with a gorgeous city view from the terrace. It's beautifully made, super clean, and has spacious rooms with all the basic facilities you need. If I plan another trip to Fes, I'll definitely stay here.
