Riad Al Mozyane

A stylish, fairly new Riad, not too far from the entrances to the city centre. The staff were friendly and helpful.

We spent two nights in Room 3 and would happily come back. The beds were very comfortable, breakfast was lovely, and the hospitality was wonderful. It's a hidden gem in a good location, with restaurants and places to buy snacks nearby. Highly recommend.

I really liked the clean, spacious rooms, attractive decor, and linens that were in better shape than what I'd found elsewhere in Morocco. Everything worked as it should, including the bathroom's water pressure and temperature. The Wi-Fi was good, breakfast was one of the better ones I had in the country, and the friendly staff spoke English very well. This was probably my favorite riad of the trip. The main drawback for me was the location. It's fairly close to the medina's main street, but still about a five-minute walk, and the route isn't well lit after dark. I didn't feel unsafe, though I can see how someone might feel uncomfortable. The riad is right beside a mosque, so the morning call to prayer was loud and clear in the room. If you're a light sleeper, you won't sleep through it. Still, it was a great place to stay, and I'd absolutely return to Fes and stay here again.
