Riad Batha

As a woman traveling alone, I stayed four nights in the female dorm and never felt unsafe. The hostel is on big roads, and the hospitality was top-notch. One day my sink clogged, so I told Fatima in the afternoon, and it was fixed by the time I got back. Muhammad and Khalid were friendly and very helpful too. The room was clean and comfortable, and got cleaned every day. They were ready to help with requests. I'd suggest adding lockers. I was alone in the dorm and was fine, but they'd be really useful once it's full. I recommend this hostel. Breakfast was okay, and they don't mind if you go back for seconds.

We loved sitting on the lovely terrace for the generous, delicious breakfast, and the staff were so welcoming. The spot is just beyond the busy Medina, with lots of local cafés and restaurants close by. Definitely recommend it.

We ended up here in a hurry after the riad next door let us down when we arrived. Halid, the enterprising receptionist (sorry if I’ve got your name wrong), quickly found us a room, settled on a price, and got us comfortable. He was kind and accommodating, and we really appreciated the rescue. The room was basic, more hostel-like, but clean and comfortable. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace was the highlight, tasty and a great setting. The location is another reason I’d recommend staying here.

The rooftop has beautiful city views and is a great place to relax in the sun. The Riad is also newly renovated, with the facilities in excellent shape, and it’s right by the Bleu gate with a petit taxi rank outside. I wasn’t sure about booking at first because there weren’t many reviews, but I’m so glad I gave it a try. The staff were professional, warm, and went out of their way to make guests feel at home. One of my best stays in Morocco. Shukran 😍🙏
