The owner and manager were extraordinarily kind and looked out for me throughout my stay, right in the heart of the Medina with everything close by. The traditional rooms are gorgeous, with attention to every detail. This was the only place I stayed in Morocco that had a hair dryer, and I was surprised to learn that many parts of the riad are original and date back to 1327. It was one of the most extraordinary and unforgettable stays of my life. I also recommend booking the hammam suggested by the hotel, but read up on it first so you know what to expect from a traditional hammam experience.

Samir at reception was attentive and very polite, and Selma kindly explained what to watch out for in Fes and offered transport advice. Everyone on staff was friendly. The rooms were tidy and air-conditioned, and breakfast was quite sufficient. The old town location is good, close to shops and historic sights. Thank you!

The rooftop view and breakfast were both lovely, and the rooms were clean. The staff were really friendly too. Just be aware that the riad is beside a mosque, so the morning call may wake you. A perfect spot in the middle of the Medina.

We arrived without booking and managed to get a double room on the first floor. It was spotless, and the service was both professional and incredibly kind. The rooftop terrace is gorgeous, and the location is hard to beat. A great place to experience Morocco.

The food was terrific, and the staff were sweet, helpful, and easy to talk to. Our room felt very Moroccan, especially the stunning bathroom tile, and the Medina location was perfect. We also had a fun guide that day. He brought along a friend, and the outing felt more like spending time with people we knew than taking a formal tour. Some might not like that, but I did. If this place bothers you, maybe a stay at the Four Seasons would suit you better. For experiencing Morocco, this was as good as it gets. Loved it.
