Riad Tara

The breakfast was huge and delicious, and the host lady was friendly and helped with lots of things. My room near the roof terrace was especially comfortable, with a shower that looked like Salvatore Dali had designed it. The pool was beautiful, surrounded by flowers and plants. Two of the other rooms looked like they belonged in a museum, they were decorated so nicely. This is probably one of the best places nearby. Go spend a great time in Fes, you'll leave with unforgettable memories.

A cute cat hangs around the lounge, which added to an already wonderful stay. The hotel and rooms are gorgeous, luxurious, and thoughtfully decorated, with a lovely rooftop terrace looking out over the city. It's centrally located, too. The owner and assistant gave us tea on arrival and were incredibly helpful, sharing maps and tips for seeing the city. Breakfast each morning was amazing, and dinner there was delicious as well. For such a reasonable price, Riad Tara was one of the best hotel experiences I've had.

Beautiful riad, and the owner and staff were so welcoming. If I could, I'd give it six stars. The only small drawback was the language barrier. It would've been even better if you speak French.

The host is fantastic and a very good cook. Have at least one dinner at the riad, the vegetable tangine is delicious, and they'll welcome you with tea when you arrive. The rooms are cute and authentically designed. For a medina tour, BOOK Abduhl as your guide. If you need a driver for safe transport, like to the airport, Meknes, or Chefchaouen, call Said.
