Riad Sara is a beautifully restored 17th Century Riad. Operating under a British-Moroccan management team, our staff are trained to address the needs of each guest on an individual basis. From providing a calm base for a city-break, to organizing a pan-Morocco adventure - we cater to the needs of our clients. Located in an easily-accessible street, just 2 minutes walk from the taxi stand in the public square at Batha, Riad Sara is perfectly located to be both quiet, but at the same time convenient. The main entrance to the Medina, Bab Boujloud, is only a 5 minute walk from the Riad, taxis to the new town are a 2 minute walk, and there are multitudes of restaurants and bazaars within a short walking distance. Our tour desk can organize day trips to nearby sites, as well as longer treks to farther afield places. We have live music every Saturday, free of charge for guests.

With just seven rooms, Riad Sara felt like home, and the staff could give each guest personal attention. Ahmad was always around and ready to help. He noticed small things, too, like turning on the fountain and putting on calming music when someone sat in the courtyard. The courtyard itself was spacious, beautiful, and a perfect place to relax. Our ground-floor room was very spacious, as was the riad overall. We stayed for two days and had dinner there once. The food tasted homemade and was amazing. The location was excellent, close to everything we needed in the city. The bathrooms could use some renovation because the taps are getting old, and the mattresses were okay but not great.

Brahim was a wonderful host and treated us like princesses during our two nights at the Riad. The rooms were clean, and everything felt luxurious. Breakfast was delicious, with everything freshly made in the morning. The best riad in Fes!

It’s past 10 p.m. and the guests are still making noise. Why aren’t you managing them? There’s music playing in the accommodation too, even though you know the soundproofing is poor. Please take better care of the property.

The Riad is absolutely gorgeous, and the people there are so lovely. Ahmed helped us arrange a last-minute Hammam and took us right to the door. I’d recommend it without hesitation! 💕

My host, Ibrahim, was incredibly welcoming and attentive to every detail. He and the other hosts made sure we felt at ease in this beautiful Riad. I’d say the hospitality was almost as good as Turkish hospitality! :p
