The staff really made us feel at home. They went out of their way to help, always with a smile. Thanks especially to Soumia, Josef and the rest of the team, and apologies if I’ve spelled any names wrong. We stayed three nights at the end of February and left feeling like locals. Riad Excellence was clean, with traditional Moroccan architecture and comfortable rooms, firm beds, good showers and Wi-Fi that worked perfectly. There was air conditioning, though we didn’t need it. The location was ideal for the Souks, in a partly covered pedestrian area. The surrounding area felt safe and friendly, without the hard sell you can sometimes encounter. We’d highly recommend staying here.

The rooftop terrace was a lovely place to unwind after a day exploring, and breakfast each morning was fresh and delicious. We found the riad peaceful and full of charm, with spotless, comfortable rooms and beautiful décor. The staff were warm and happy to help with recommendations, transport, and anything else we needed. It’s conveniently close to the main sights in the heart of the Medina, yet calm inside. We felt well looked after and would come back. A wonderful stay in Marrakech.

Abdul made sure dinner was ready even though we reached the riad late, and he looked after us well. The next morning, Youseff was very caring at breakfast. Soumia had already been a great help before we arrived, arranging a private transfer despite our flight being delayed by three hours. The rooms were comfortable and the riad is in a very good location. We had a great stay and I’d recommend it.

The location worked well for us, close to plenty of restaurants and the souk. It’s far enough from the mosks that we couldn’t hear the morning call to prayer. The atmosphere was pleasant and friendly, the rooms were excellent, and the AC can heat or cool. Breakfast was very good, with coffee or tea included.

Our group spent four days here and we were happy with the stay. A special thank you to Mr. YOUSSEF, who was responsible, always smiling, and helped us with all our questions.
