The staff were attentive and professional, and they made the visit pleasant with their friendly manner. The food was good quality and the prices fair. Add a wonderful view, and it’s easy to recommend this place.

The manager was very nice, but should have explained breakfast better. We refused to pay the full price because there were too many disappointments. The setting is beautiful, though the hotel itself feels tired and has a lot of potential. In my room, the doors needed forcing open and shut; one had cracked glass, and it scraped the floor badly enough to wear the tiles. There was nowhere to hang the showerhead, and the bath didn't look clean. The bed was hard and lumpy. Instead of pillows there were only bolsters and cushions, so I couldn't sleep. The food was a four out of ten. The crème brûlée seemed like a cheap supermarket dessert. In the morning, the pool was covered with insects, and it had only been skimmed despite the overhanging trees. There were plenty of other issues too.

The host was welcoming and happy to help, and the hotel has an amazing view. I’d gladly come back and stay again 🙏

The gardens are huge, and the sunset over the mountains is lovely. We had a nice bedroom with a balcony, plus good choices for breakfast and dinner. The staff welcomed us warmly and were especially understanding when we realized we'd miscalculated our cash. We figured out a solution together. Just keep in mind there’s no ATM in the village. Finding this hotel felt like discovering a hidden gem. All in all, we had a great stay 👌👌
