If you need somewhere quiet to relax or work, this place really isn’t suitable. The owner plays very loud music from the open terrace starting around 7:00 PM each day, and it can go on for hours, often late into the evening. It only stops after somebody complains. The sound carries clearly into nearby buildings, disrupting guests and the everyday lives of people in the area. The lack of consideration is what frustrates me most. I can’t understand how an adult keeps ignoring the effect this has on others. I strongly recommend avoiding the place and not supporting this behavior.

The people made all the difference. It felt like one big family, and we were made to feel very welcome. We loved the evenings singing and playing cards together, and Zac is a really good surfer instructor. We’d planned to stay just two nights but ended up extending. The hostel is well located, the rooftop is great, and the rooms and facilities are totally alright. I’d definitely come back again. 🌞🌊

Such a great place with lovely people, close to Cathedral Point and the bay. I’d recommend it to anyone wanting the best holiday of their life!

Everyone at the hostel was so warm, attentive and nice, and Said is the best host. I had a wonderful time and will definitely come back!
