The inside of Kasbah Dounia is really nice. We had a tasty meatball Tajine, and both dinner and breakfast were served. The staff were very kind, and the manager was friendly. A good experience.

The staff were helpful and pleasant whenever we needed something. The buffet, though, was only so-so and pricey for Morocco. The chicken Moroccan dish was okay, and the fresh bread and salads were good, but most of the other food was nearly inedible. One couple on our Fes to Merzouga tour didn't eat; if we'd had more than a small breakfast, we might have skipped it too. If you do eat here, I'd stick with the chicken and salad. We were brought here for the lunch buffet as part of the tour, and the food was pretty average at best.

We didn't try the food, so I can't say whether it was good. We were taken here by bus with a big group of tourists, and the buffet was 120 Dirhams. The whole setup felt more aimed at tourists than at offering an authentic meal, which made the place seem like a tourist trap.

Mohamed and Yahya made our family feel comfortable, taking care with the details and what we needed. The service was excellent, and we had the best experience we've ever had with my family. We'll definitely come back. I'd highly recommend visiting this place and this beautiful small town, with so much to offer and enjoy in the Beauty of Morocco.

My best friend and I had so many buffet choices that we could hardly decide. The food may be the tastiest I've had in Morocco so far. If you're driving by, I'd really recommend stopping in to try the traditional Moroccan cuisine.
