The rooms are a little shabby, and management pushes a bit too hard to sell meals and tour packages. Someone tried our door handle three times during the night, which bothered us. The free breakfast was only bread and a couple scoops of jam, well below what other places in this price range offer. Not great.

Lunch at Tijani's restaurant was a mixed experience. The meal was large, but the flavor was disappointing. The omelette was more like a fried egg, since the cheese wasn't evenly mixed through it. Harira was a little watery, and in the lemon tajin the lemon and seasoning were too strong, drowning out the meat and onions. Prices were basically okay, though Harira and drinks were expensive even for a tourist area. They add a compulsory 10% service charge, just like the nearby restaurant “Jenno”. A strange custom for a third class restaurant.

I liked the ethnic decor, and all the staff were very attentive. It’s a good choice if being near the Zawiyah Tijani matters to you, though it isn’t perfect.

We arrived late without a booking, but they gave us dinner and a good double room with an en suite and TV. The hotel and rooms were nice, and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
