We regretted not staying longer. The manager arranged a wonderful day hike through the rose valley and gorge, and they can also organize multi-day Atlas hikes that benefit local communities. After dinner, staff played traditional Berber music. The Kasbah sits above a lush, dreamy valley, and we had a delicious, healthy dinner with lots of different vegetables. Breakfast on the terrace, looking out over the valley, was excellent too. Our room was spacious, tidy, and spotlessly clean. All in all, highly recommended.

We arrived at Kasbah Itran on Eid, when families were celebrating on the terraces and enjoying the beautiful view. Everyone was so friendly. Once they went home, we had the place to ourselves. The hospitality was incredible and the food was great. Staying in this magical kasbah was a truly unique experience. If you're heading to or from the desert, make a point of going. Our four day trek in Jebal Saghro with the children was the absolute highlight of our holiday. We stayed in tents and mules carried our luggage through this very remote area, where we met Nomads living in the mountains. We were well looked after, with delicious food cooked for us three times a day. Kasbah Itran hosted us before and after the trek. It's a memorable location, and the staff were friendly and extremely helpful. The food there was generous and delicious too.

The grounds are beautiful, and we really loved staying here. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I was unwell, and the staff went out of their way to look after me. A great experience!
