The garden was peaceful, with a lovely spot to watch the stars, and there was a sweet dog around. It’s only a few minutes from the lively village, yet still quiet enough to relax. The host was welcoming, the traditional chalets had charm, and breakfast was generous and delicious.

I could happily spend days in the laid-back area beside the chalet, it has such a good feel to it. The whole place suited me perfectly and is my favorite stay in Morocco so far. The owner is a lovely man with a nice family. I liked the decor and how comfortable it felt to hang out there, and the food was really tasty. Hope I can come back insha'allah.

Daoud and his wife Rajah looked after us so well and made sure we had what we needed. Breakfast came with fresh orange juice and delicious coffee, and the food was excellent traditional Berber fare. I’m visiting from Vancouver as a Canadian, and I’m thrilled with my stay at Dar Sidi Bounou. It felt like an authentic Moroccan experience, and I highly recommend it.

Daoud cooked one of the best dinners we had during our month in Morocco, he really is a wonderful cook. The room was comfortable and spotless, and the place has a lovely ambiance. All in all, I highly recommend it.

We only meant to stay a couple of days at Dar Sidi Bounou, but had such a good time that we extended our visit and already hope to return. There are Berber tents where you can sip mint tea and relax, and the atmosphere is easygoing. The staff are lovely and helpful. Raja made the best food we had in Morocco, Dawd looked after us like a real friend, and Nancy shared some incredible stories from her life.
