This was a headache from beginning to end, so save yourself the stress and find somewhere respectable like the Marriott. The sink was clogged, and the fridge still didn't work after they supposedly sent someone to repair it. They also never give receipts for requested extra services, which feels very unprofessional. Guests are treated like prisoners, since friends, male or female, can't visit your room even briefly. The area feels unsafe to me: police patrol often, and taxi drivers may call them if they think you're waiting for an In Drive. Local taxis try charging 100 to 200 for a five-minute ride, which is outrageous. The staff are very difficult to deal with and throw a tantrum if you ask to see the hotel policy. It seems like they make up rules as they go.

The building has potential, but it feels badly underinvested and poorly located, with the basics no longer working and staff who seem just as worn down. Even the entrance tells the story: the doors are coming off their hinges and scrape the floor. A maintenance man came to address the bathroom drain, which seems to be a common problem here, and smelled so bad I couldn't wait for him to leave. Bar staff didn't seem to know the menu, either. The air conditioning was out, so I slept with the window open beside a busy road. There was no effective management. Don't stay here.

Two nights here felt like hell. The room was dirty and smelled very bad, and housekeeping barely did anything beyond making the bed. The employees said the air conditioning only gets turned on in summer, and it wasn't working during my stay. There was a paper in the room listing a room-service number and saying it was available 24/7. I called many times; just one person answered, and she told me not to call her again. Worst hotel I've ever visited.

We had a great time, and the staff made our stay worthwhile by being lovely, accommodating, and quick to help us get things done. The hotel is very centrally located, with nice aesthetics and spacious, very clean rooms.

I spent seven days at kech boutique Hotel and really enjoyed it from start to finish. The atmosphere felt welcoming, with modern comforts and an authentic charm. My room was spacious, kept in good shape, and cleaned carefully every day. The bed was very comfortable after long days, and I appreciated the fresh linens, well-stocked amenities, and calm feel that made it like home. I'll be back next time.
