The kind, friendly staff made the stay feel welcoming, even though the property itself seemed a little unpolished. It has just 17 suites and never felt crowded, so the atmosphere was relaxed. The hotel is traditional and quiet, and seems reasonably maintained, but the building feels old. Anyone looking for a modern or newly renovated place may not find it suitable. Since it was my first visit to Morocco, I couldn't really judge local standards. I wouldn't set high expectations for the room views: mine faced an inner courtyard, and the layout meant people outside could see in somewhat, which might bother guests who care about privacy. I ate at the restaurant and enjoyed the food. Breakfast was a satisfactory, standard buffet. I had arranged a private tour for my whole trip, but if I'd been choosing accommodation on my own, I might have looked at other hotels too, depending on reviews and what I wanted. The value didn't stand out, though it could suit travelers after a traditional Marrakech atmosphere and warm hospitality.

The hotel is in a quiet spot, still near the medina and souks, and I would happily stay again. We only had a couple of days and stayed in the Junior Suite (mysk), which was enormous, with loads of storage, a great shower, and a lovely, huge, comfortable bed. The staff were really lovely, and breakfast was very nice. The roof pool was great, and the rear garden had lots of birds as well as visiting cats and kittens. We didn't get time to try the onsite hammam and spa, but I imagine they would be good. A couple of small things went wrong: the door name plate fell off right after we arrived, apparently because it had been stuck back on in the sun. Just before checkout, the loft hatch near the front door fell down and scared us half to death. Still, highly recommended.

We booked a session for four a week ahead and arrived looking forward to a high-quality Moroccan hammam. The experience was extremely disappointing and didn't meet the standards of a reputable hammam. Three of us were squeezed into a room barely big enough for one, and the women doing the scrubbing seemed unskilled, taking turns carelessly and without organization. The surface where we lay was so hot I couldn't stand it, so I had to stop the scrubbing and finish the bath by myself. That defeats the point of going to a hammam. The service felt shockingly unprofessional, and I urge management to take a serious look at its quality.

Be careful with this place, it feels like a scam. I mistakenly booked a room without a refund policy. Booking.com offered a full refund, but I chose an option that apparently didn't include one. I noticed the next day, contacted the property right away, politely explained what had happened, and asked for my money back. I even offered to pay part of the room cost. They refused and charged 600€ to my card.
