The staff made our holiday feel really special. They helped us plan and book activities, and on arrival one of them welcomed us with mint tea and local cakes and biscuits while explaining the hotel and the area. Breakfast was amazing, with so much choice that I’d challenge anyone to finish it all. We were on a B&B package. After a busy spell in town, it was lovely to come back, swim and unwind. The old town and souks are a short taxi ride away, or about a 45-minute walk. Keep an eye out for motorbikes in the souks. We were told to walk on the right, but the space is tight. The team couldn’t have done more for us and made us feel like royalty. I’d definitely recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Marrakesh. Thanks for a lovely holiday. Julie and Steve

The rooms at Albakech were fantastic and had all the facilities we needed, and the location was convenient, with a shopping mall right next door. We stayed four nights during our visit to Marrakesh and had a really pleasant experience. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout. When a tour operator cancelled our pre-booked excursion at the last minute, Hakima at reception arranged an alternative and saved the day. Camelia welcomed us on arrival by showing us around the hotel and was always happy to take our calls. Hussni and Youssef at reception were more like friends, both helpful and happy to chat about local culture. We really enjoyed the Moroccan breakfast and the friendly service from Oussama and Omar. Thank you to all the staff for your hospitality.

The breakfast was the best I’ve ever had at a hotel, with fresh produce every day, and the breakfast waiters were superb. Hakima and Hussmi at reception were especially welcoming and always checked that we had what we needed. The staff really went out of their way to look after us. I couldn’t fault anything, and I’d give this luxury hotel 10 stars if I could. We’ll definitely stay here again when we return to Morocco.

The whole team made our first visit to Marrakesh memorable, with friendly, attentive service. Thank you, everyone. We had a wonderful week at Albakech. The hotel is lovely, clean and well looked after, and we enjoyed the breakfast, dinner and spa facilities. I hope we can stay again in the future. Stay well.

We spent two weeks here and the staff were excellent. Aya, hosnie, hakima and the two other guys at reception were so lovely. They said we were like family because we’d stayed so long. I wish I got this kind of treatment at every hotel. Breakfast and dinner were very good every day. Quasama and Omar were lovely waiters, and nisrine and her team always kept things clean. The spa was very nice too. The hotel is right across from a center, so it was easy to get to the supermarket and gym. Everything else was only about 10 minutes away. LOVE THIS PLACE Best regards, Michelle & Berke from Norway
